The Blackstone Legal Fellowship is a fellowship in the truest sense, a community bound by friendship, faith, and the pursuit of excellence. From its founding, Blackstone has drawn together some of the most gifted Christian law students from around the globe and set them on a path toward influence at the highest levels of the profession.
Blackstone is not simply a summer program. It is a rigorous formation for leaders whose judgment and moral imagination are rooted in the rule of law, and who go on to shape both law and culture across courtrooms, boardrooms, legislatures, and universities. Here, intellectual seriousness is joined with character, and professional ambition is tempered by a larger vision of justice and the common good. Fellows are formed to think with clarity, to act with courage, and to lead with humility—habits of mind and soul rooted in faith, enduring long after the summer ends.
Those who walk through Blackstone’s doors join a Fellowship that extends far beyond one season. Its alumni serve as partners in leading law firms, advisors in government, and leaders in business and education. Yet Blackstone’s measure of success is not ambition alone, but vocation: men and women whose lives testify that the practice of law can be a calling—marked by wisdom, excellence, and service to God and neighbor.
For those chosen to become Fellows at the end of the summer, the summer-long program represents a beginning, not a culmination. Fellows receive ongoing training, resources, and support through an international community.
